This is a selection of some of the most frequently asked questions about Scarecrow. Check back, as more may be added later.
No. This film is separate and standalone.
2. Why are you not releasing more information about the story? We feel it is not necessary to reveal key details about the story until the film is closer to release. However, more details have been discussed and released in several articles done about the film.
3. The trailer on the website is longer than a normal trailer. Why? The trailer is not a typical trailer you would see at your local cinema. The trailer is more of a promotional piece for the film that contains alternate scenes from the feature film and was filmed before shooting of the actual feature film began. This was done for a variety of reasons. Mainly to help secure funding. It was eventually released online to announce and promote the feature film. The term trailer was used as it is well known and we wanted to make it clear that what people were seeing would be part of something bigger. A more standard trailer from the final film will be released later.
4. Was the promotional trailer filmed in High Definition? Are you shooting the feature film in High Definition? No. The trailer was shot on 35mm film. The feature film will also be shot on 35mm film.

8. What is the film's budget? Details about the budget are not being discussed publically.
9. Why make a film about a Scarecrow? There has yet to be a film dedicated solely to a scarecrow that we feel has captured it well. We find the scarecrow to be naturally creepy and find the various myths surrounding the scarecrow interesting and perfect for film. We hope we can deliver the scarecrow film in the classic creature feature horror vain that people have been waiting for.
10. Who designed the scarecrow creature? The scarecrow was designed by a very talented American artist and art director named Keith Corcoran. Keith was involved in both design and conceptual stages of the scarecrow. Writer and Director Joseph Bat and Production Designer Alex Wood were also involved in the process.
